「浪曲」とは、「落語」や「講談」と並ぶ日本の話芸です。物語を語りながら、“節”と呼ばれる歌唱と三味線が入る、話芸でありながら音楽的な要素を持つ芸能です。また、語り手の“浪曲師”と三味線を弾く“曲師”、二人でやるのが浪曲です。浪曲師と曲師の間には譜面がありません。呼吸を読み即興で作り上げてゆく唯一無二の芸です。ぜひ、箱根写真美術館の素晴らしいアートに囲まれながら、聴きにいらしてください。お子様、ご家族でも楽しめます！

"Rōkyoku" is a Japanese storytelling art alongside "rakugo" and "kodan."
While telling a story, it incorporates vocal accompaniment called "fushi" and shamisen, making it a form of performing art that incorporates musical elements while also being a storytelling art.
Also, rokyoku is performed by two people: the storyteller, the "rokyokushi," and the shamisen player, the "kyokushi." There is no musical score between the rokyokushi and the kakushi.It is a unique art form that involves reading the breath and improvising.

箱根生まれの写真家・遠藤桂が発起人となり、箱根芸術祭実行委員会を立ち上げ、
2024年夏、箱根を愛する人々によるアート＆カルチャーの祭典「箱根芸術祭」第一回目を
開催する運びとなりました。
「アートは世界の共通言語。みんなで遊ぼう！」を合言葉に、地域発信のアートとカルチャー、音楽イベントなどで彩り、参加者が楽しみ、鑑賞者との交流が生まれ、アートを通じて心が豊かになる世界を目指します。
箱根を愛し、創作活動、アート、文化、音楽、食文化などの活動をしている方ならプロ・アマ問わず、どなたでもご参加いただけます。
楽しく歩き続けることが一番大切なこと。新しい箱根からの発信です。
